FIXTURES AGAINST TOP ACADEMIES
Throughout the season, players will have the opportunity to take part in fixtures against top academies, including Manchester City, Blackpool FC and Liverpool FC.
These fixtures are not held weekly and depend on invitations and availability. We aim to arrange fixtures on the players’ usual training days wherever possible; however, this cannot always be guaranteed.
(Please note: While we always aim to give parents as much notice as possible, some academies may extend invitations at short notice, meaning fixtures may occasionally be arranged at short notice.)
These opportunities provide valuable match experience and allow players to test themselves against high-level opposition.
WHAT WE EXPECT
We are looking for players who are:
-
COMMITTED — Consistent with their training.
-
SERIOUS — Wanting to improve and compete.
-
MEDIUM/HIGH TO HIGH ABILITY — Already demonstrating a strong level of football ability.
-
READY TO BE CHALLENGED — Looking for more than standard grassroots training.
TRIALS
Trial places are subject to availability. We regularly assess players throughout the season where squad spaces are available.

A trial is a formal assessment, not a taster session.
