2. MONTHLY PAYMENTS
• Payments must be made on time each month in advance to ensure your child’s place within the programme.
• Should you wish to cancel your place, we require one month’s written notice. This allows us to manage squad numbers and programme planning effectively.
3. ATTENDANCE & COMMITMENT
• Players are expected to attend all training sessions, fixtures, and programme activities regularly and arrive on time.
• Consistent attendance is essential for player development, team cohesion, and overall progress.
• If a player is unable to attend, parents should notify the coaching staff as soon as possible.
4. TEAM TRIPS /TOURNAMENTS
A trip away / tournament will be organised towards the end of the season as part of the PS Sports Elite Development Programme experience.
These experiences will provide:
• Team-building opportunities
• Exposure to different opposition and playing environments
• Personal development opportunities
• New challenges and learning experiences
• Enhanced football education both on and off the pitch
• Increased independence away from parents and the home environment
Participation in some events may not always be mandatory; however, players are strongly encouraged to attend wherever possible to maximise their development and contribute positively to the team environment.
5. MATCHES & FIXTURES
Fixtures and matches are organised throughout the season and are not planned a year in advance. We will always aim to provide parents and players with as much notice as possible regarding upcoming matches, tournaments, trips, and football activities.
Competitive and friendly matches will begin once the squad is ready and players have had sufficient time to train together, develop understanding, and build strong team cohesion as a group.
All players selected for fixtures are expected to:
• Arrive on time and fully prepared
• Demonstrate positive behaviour and sportsmanship
• Respect coaches, teammates, opponents, referees, and spectators
• Represent PS Sports professionally at all times
Parents are reminded that fixture availability, venues, and kick-off times can occasionally change due to circumstances outside of the programme’s control. Communication regarding updates will always be sent through the official PS Sports WhatsApp group.
6. PLAYER EXPECTATIONS
• Show respect to coaches, teammates, opponents, officials, and parents.
• Display good sportsmanship at all times.
• Listen carefully and respond positively to coaching instructions.
• Arrive prepared with the correct kit and equipment.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to improve.
• Represent PS Sports professionally both on and off the pitch.

Bullying, discrimination, abusive language, disruptive behaviour, or any actions that negatively affect the environment will not be tolerated.
7. COMMITMENT, ATTITUDE & BEHAVIOUR
PS Sports is designed for players who genuinely want to learn, improve, and develop.
Players are expected to be committed, enthusiastic, and coachable. A willingness to listen, learn, and apply feedback is a key part of becoming a better player and teammate.
If a player consistently demonstrates a lack of effort, loses interest in the programme, regularly displays poor behaviour, creates negativity within the group, or shows an unwillingness to be coached, we will initially arrange a discussion with both the player and their parents to identify any concerns and provide support.
However, if there is no improvement following these discussions, PS Sports reserves the right to remove the player from the programme.
8. PARENT EXPECTATIONS
• Support all players positively.
• Respect coaches, referees, opponents, and other parents.
• Allow coaches to coach during sessions and matches.
• Encourage effort, learning, and enjoyment rather than focusing solely on results.
• Communicate any concerns directly and respectfully with coaching staff.
• Ensure players arrive on time and are collected promptly after sessions.
• Support the values and standards of the programme.
Negative behaviour towards players, coaches, officials, other parents, or the programme itself will not be accepted.
